Yeah, the new brushes work well for a zombie image. Are those strokes below "wolverine"'s head supposed to be his shoulders? If so, it might be cooler (sicker, anyway) to just have the severed head, baby.
Caleb, Zombies rule. There is really no way to make them lame, UNLESS, you make them friendly. Or have them 'team-up' with other pussies like a friendly vampire, or a friendly witch. Thank you for respecting that which is sacred.
But on second glance I noticed he is dragging around that dead body like a baby carries a teddy bear. Which is sooooo soft I cant even.... Nice friendly zombie, hussey. I bet you cant wait till april so you can do a bunch of pastel drawings of the Easter Bunny.
Just kidding dude, I think the colors are great. its really dirty feeling. and the brush strokes add some kick ass texture to the painting. The slanted jaw is my favorite though.

I like the gritty texture, the color scheme really works too. Is that Wolverine's head he is carrying?

or a severed baby head.
This is sweet. Though I think you should downplay the blood on his upper gums, as it makes it look like a mustache.
it has a nice painterly touch to the strokes.
