So I've had more time lately. And after the last couple paintings I've decided that I REALLY miss Photoshop. A lot. Thank you, and goodnight.

I did this character as a speed painting a while ago, decided to make a cleaned up piece with her, basically another cookie cutter work of mine :S i did try to make her face a little different though, went with a spumco styled girl face. I also ripped off alot of Priscilla's finishing touches from her last piece ;) (the whole cardboard cutout look) did I say ripped off, i meant was inspired by...

I wanted to do more clean up and tweaks here and there, but i donno if i have time, because STUPID ME forgot that this would be printed out and now i have to go and tweak everything so it works well in CYMK values. That and the cake is kinda popping out too much.. but whatever.. i'll tweak it some other time.

And now for something completely different...

"Art Test"

Had an interview today/yesterday and to make a long story short... I'm doing some sample stuff for them to see if things work out.. i guess you can call it an art test or something along those lines. Anyway, still working on this but in front of the chick she'll be blowing out candles on a birthday cake.

Lately I have only been drawing pictures where I have looked at photo refs to make sure I dont screw up the anatomy so much, but I noticed my poses were getting weaker and weaker, so this guy is in my old fashion of just drawing from scratch.
