Yay, I'm finally posting something! Hehe. I started out doing the speedpainting and ended up going a different direction. Just a quick practice in light and color.
What's neat about this is, the colors you used would normally signify a place that is hotter than the sun, yet my first reaction to it was that it felt warm and fuzzy. Nice job
This is killer, Elaine. Probably one of the coolest things I've seen you do. The only thing that throws me off a little is the extreme hard edges you've got on the side of the building, and the windows. I like the shape of the windows, so I wouldn't change that much, maybe just soften the edges a little so they blend in with the rest of the piece. Also, you've got kind of skewed perspective on everything, so you might just angle the wall a little, so it's not so straight vertical. Really great lighting and atmosphere.
