This lil guy is cute. It is a nice study. I think there is a bit too much cool color in the shadows. You have blue for the lighter shadows, but then warm color for the darkest areas. If the dark detail areas like the lips and eyes had some tonal it would help pull things together a bit more to me. Also, It might be fun even if this is a study to come up with a more interesting composition so he is not smack dab in the middle of the frame.
