Trying to do some study's off of classic masters. In this case, Bouguereau (one of my favs). Trying to work on speed, trying to eyeball color (no color picker allowed! UGH!), working everything on one layer, trying to figuring out the choices they made on lighting... and learning a new set of custom brushes. I meant to only work on it for an hour, but got kind of into it and went for a couple/few more.

It looks like maybe your overblending a bit I would let the shadowed sides be closer to flat color.
also the skin could use a little more orange maybe
Ha! You're on the ball about the orange! Originally i was going to just do an overlay of it in the end, but i think i'm done with this now. I want to move on to something else, trying to practice speed, i really should just stop myself after a couple hours.
